Andy Murray explains whether he still believes Novak Djokovic can win a 25th Grand Slam title

The two teamed up for the first half of the 2025 season, with Murray taking on a coaching role for Djokovic during that time. While the partnership got off to a promising start with a semi-final run at the Australian Open, things didn’t hold up as well through the clay court swing, and they eventually decided to go their separate ways.

The 38-year-old didn’t make a final last year, but after defeating Jannik Sinner, Djokovic was back in the Australian Open final this January, where he fell to Carlos Alcaraz.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Murray was asked whether he believes Djokovic can claim that elusive 25th Slam. Murray didn’t rule it out but pointed to several factors that could stand in the way. “I think that he can,” said Murray.
