Tennessee wins and Alabama loses nonconference contests ahead of a three-game SEC baseball series.

Tennessee (27-14, 8-10 SEC) continued a nine-game homestand on Tuesday. The Vols defeated Lipscomb (17-20, 10-8 ASUN), 14-4, in seven innings at Lindsey Nelson Stadium . Tennessee leads the all-time baseball series, 15-3, against Lipscomb, dating to March 24, 1979.
