Texas A&M is currently predicted to land six 2027 five-star prospects
According to On3, Texas A&M is currently the favorite to land six five-star prospects in the 2027 recruiting class, including CB John Meredith.
Texas A&M's spring season may be over, but this is just the start of what could be one of the best recruiting summers in program history, as third-year head coach Mike Elko is on the cusp of finishing the year with the No. 1-ranked 2027 cycle, having already landed 12 commits, led by five-star edge Zyron Forstall and three blue-chip defensive backs. Over the last few months, Elko and his staff have hosted nearly every five-star prospect in Texas, while continuing to branch out.
The staff's dominance in Georgia and recent success in California have continued, as just five of the program's 12 commitments hail from the Lone Star State. Already ranked as On3's No. 1-ranked class, the Aggies have landed or are currently trending to land nine, yes, nine committed for uncommitted five-star prospects in the cycle.
Over the next two months, Texas A&M will host two of the program's top priority prospects, headlined by five-star cornerback and the No. 2-ranked prospect in the class, John Meredith , while five-star interior offensive linemen Albert Simien and Kennedy Brown have already received predictions to land in College Station, combined with five-star tackle Mark Matthews' successful visit this past weekend.
