Nebraska defeats Omaha 11-4 on Tuesday to complete series sweep

Nebraska softball (37-6) faced off against Omaha (29-9) for the third and final time this season on Tuesday night. The Huskers completed the seasonal sweep, taming the Mavericks 11-4. Nebraska and Omaha traded three-run innings and a single-run inning in the first half of the game, heading into the fourth tied 4-4.
The Huskers, however, pulled away in the fourth, doubling their run total before chalking up three more runs across the remainder of the game. Nebraska finished with 14 hits while the Mavericks totaled six. Ava Kuszak dominated on the night to lead the Huskers, batting 4-for-5 for four RBIs, which included a double and a two-run home run.
Jesse Farrell also hit one over the wall, striking a three-run shot to finish the game with three RBIs. Samantha Bland and Alexis Jensen both delivered a solo home run while Kacie Hoffmann and Hannah Camenzind each contributed an RBI. H.
