A cycle and more: Vote for the C&I Softball Player of the Week
Candidates come from all over the Cape and Islands. Voting ends on Tuesday.
Welcome to our latest Cape Cod and Islands High School Player of the Week Poll. High school sports fans can vote for which softball players they think were standouts during the previous week. The poll will be open from Wednesday through Tuesday.
The winner will be announced on Wednesday along with the new poll. Votes are unlimited. Rules of the Road Votes must be cast via the Cape Cod Times website/mobile sites.
Votes submitted via email and social media will NOT be accepted. To vote for this week's Player of the Week, scroll down on this page. Last week's winner Kinsey Lister, Monomoy Lister remains as the lone poll winner of the season as she won back-to-back weeks with 63% of the votes.
She struck out seven batters in three innings, and combined on a no-hitter with Leighton, as the Sharks beat Barnstable. She then struck out 13 batters, surrendering just three hits and two runs over five innings, while walking one, in a 12-5 win over Falmouth through five innings. She went 3-for-4 at the plate with two runs scored and three RBIs.
