Uli Hoeneß continues to praise Vincent Kompany’s impeccable man management skills
Do you think Kompany is awesome? Think again, because he is apparently even more awesome than that.

Since that fateful day in the Munich restaurant in which Hoeneß met the Belgian, it has been clear as day.
The former European Cup winner saw it fit to praise Kompany’s work just weeks after his first day at Bayern back in 2024 and he is certainly not going to stop now, when the former Burnley boss has delivered tangible success to the club. Hoeneß’s latest praise centers on the togetherness of the squad, demonstrated quite effectively by Kompany’s recent birthday party. “The coach has managed to forge a team out of individual players.
Things haven’t been like this within the squad and the staff for a long time,” Hoeneß remarked during an appearance on Podcast Auf eine weiß-blaue Tasse (as captured by @iMiaSanMia ). “We recently celebrated Vincent Kompany’s 40th birthday. There was a surprise party.
50-60 people were there, they gave him a standing ovation and sang for him. You can tell everything’s going well. They’re having fun.
