Richard Hughes now 'keen' on signing 10 g/a Premier League star for Liverpool Richard Hughes has a lot of questions to answer this summer. Liverpool's sporting director chose to spend over £400 million on new players who were expected to make the Anfield outfit unstoppable. And, on the face of things, with players such as Alexander Isak, Florian Wirtz and even Jeremie Frimpong joining, it felt like no other Premier League team were going to get close.

However, due to injuries and a lack of cohesion among their ranks, things haven't quite to plan with the club now battling it out for the Champions League places. Hughes needs to get his transfers right , otherwise the Anfield outfit could end up even worse off than they currently find themselves. This would be far from ideal which is why it's hardly surprising to see Liverpool linked with players who already have a bit of Premier League experience under their belts.

Almost all of their front line have failed to live up to the standards expected of them with only Hugo Ekitike and Rio Ngumoha starring for the Reds . Several players have already been linked with an Anfield switch but this latest rumour will certainly pique the interest of the Reds' fanbase.
