Heading into the 2026 season, here are the biggest Commanders busts based on early fantasy expert consensus rankings

Fantasy expert consensus rankings (“ECR”) are starting to pop up across the Internet, giving managers an early glimpse into how the market might value hundreds of players this summer. As we look ahead to the 2026 season, here are the biggest Commanders busts based on ECR. Terry McLaurin’s incredible 2024 campaign was not replicated in 2025.

Not even close. It wasn’t his fault, as injuries to him and to Jayden Daniels made the alpha receiver nothing more than a streamer. Experts are mostly willing to forget last season, giving him a WR24 ECR.

But even that’s too bullish. He was the WR7 in 2024, not because he got more looks (his target rate was his lowest since 2019), but because he caught 13 TD passes. His yearly average entering that season was five.

That eight-touchdown bump equated to 48 fantasy points, which catapulted him from fringe weekly starter to near-elite asset. That level of productivity cannot be easily replicated, especially for someone turning 31 years old in September. McLaurin’s a long shot to finish in the top 24.
