Now that we know he’s open to it, could it happen?

But what about the price?

Per a report from Martin Hardy of the The Times (as captured by @iMiaSanMia ), Newcastle have set their demands and established a price that they expect to receive for Gordon. The report mentions that they are “aware of Bayern’s interest, although no official club-to-club contact has yet been made. ” Previously, Bayern evaluated Gordon’s market worth to be around 63 million euros, not a small figure by any measure, but it looks like the English club won’t even consider that amount.

Considering Gordon’s current form and his performance this season so far, Newcastle have decided to raise their asking price to 86 million euros, a figure they believe is more on par with what he is worth. According to the report, if Bayern is willing to accept this price tag, the English forward would be sold. It is also worth to note that other teams, especially from the Premier League, are highly interested in Gordon.

Arsenal and Liverpool seem to be serious in their pursuit, but we can presume that Bayern Munich are the clear favorites. In the meantime, Gordon’s representatives could begin official negotiations with Die Rekordmeister very soon. What do you think?
