It’s been a tough start to the season for Paredes, who missed a large chunk of last season due to a torn hamstring before trying to play through it the final few weeks. The team loves his plate discipline and willingness to work counts, making pitchers throw a lot of pitches each time he comes to the plate. He has played well enough defensively at 3B, 2B, and 1B, and should be commended for his flexibility in where he plays.

Those 2 HRs could be what he needed to get on a tear. ISAAC. PAREDES.
