Is Malik Benson an answer for Raiders’ receiving corp in the draft?

Yahoo Sports

Oregon wide receiver Malik Benson is a potential answer for the Raiders’ needs at the position on day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft.

Oregon wide receiver Malik Benson deserves his share of attention as an attractive prospect for the Las Vegas Raiders to consider in the 2026 NFL Draft. As expected, the top prospects in this year’s draft class such as Fernando Mendoza and Jeremiyah Love have dominated the spotlight prior to the start of the event, but a prospect like Benson is worthy of some of it himself. The depth at several positions this year, including at wide receiver, thanks in part to Benson, works to the benefit of the Las Vegas Raiders — a team in need of depth in their receiving corp.

The 23-year-old has the tools to be a productive contributor for the Raiders as soon as next season, despite being projected to be selected on day 3 of the draft . Benson recorded 719 receiving yards as well as six receiving touchdowns last season. He consistently made plays catching passes from Dante Moore in 2025.

Benson was a downfield threat in the Oregon offense, having averaged 16. 7 yards per reception on the year. Las Vegas’ receiving corp is in great need of dynamic pass-catchers that are equipped to help turn around the team’s offense in 2026.

Benson is among the best wide receivers anticipated to be selected in the later rounds of the draft that the Raiders stand the chance to be able to select.
