Sorry home spell to break against Austria Vienna More big points at stake under the lights We hope it will be a case of nice to see you again this Wednesday! To kick off the second half of the ADMIRAL Bundesliga championship group, our lads will face FK Austria Vienna tomorrow, just three days after their successful away trip. Under the watchful eye of referee Harald Lechner, this fourth and final meeting of the season with the Violets will take place from 18:30 CEST at the Red Bull Arena .
Not only does our team hold the upper hand in the 2025/26 head-to-head record – 2-1 in wins – but we also have the upper hand in recent history, having won all six other encounters since 2024 . Our boys are also still undefeated in championship group matches against the Violets. We suffered that one blot on our record in our first match of 2026 at home, so in the wake of that 0-2 defeat, we're not just looking for revenge, but also aiming for that long-overdue first home league win of 2026!
A statistical tidbit that speaks in favour of Daniel Beichler's boys: the last time we suffered a home defeat in the Austrian top flight on a Wednesday was on 9 May 2007 – a 2-3 loss against Pasching. That was a week when DJ Ötzi was topping the charts and Mr. Bean was longing for a holiday on Austrian cinema screens.
Since then, we've celebrated 20 wins in 22 matches. Karim Konate & Co. will be giving their all - so why not support our Red Bulls live at the stadium and secure your seats online in the ticket shop !
