Players from Detroit Country Day, Utica Eisenhower, Allen Park and Pinckney are finalists for the Buffalo Wild Wings Girls Prep Athlete of the Week.

It's time to vote for the Detroit Free Press Buffalo Wild Wings Girls Prep Athlete of the Week . This week's poll features four players โ€“ one player each from lacrosse, soccer, softball and track and field. All had standout performances during the week of April 12-18.

Voting will close at noon on Friday, April 24. Here are the nominees (listed in alphabetical order by last name): Jackie Calso, Detroit Country Day, lacrosse Country Day went 3-1 on its four-game stretch against Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook-Kingswood, Hartland, East Grand Rapids and Grand Rapids Northview. Jackie Calso, a junior midfielder for the Yellowjackets, had 19 draw controls, 12 assists and 11 goals for the week.

Gabby Gojcaj, Utica Eisenhower, soccer Eisenhower extended its winning streak to seven games after defeating Romeo, Sterling Heights Stevenson, Grand Ledge and Ann Arbor Skyline, giving up only one goal. Gabby Gojacj had six goals and four assists for the Eagles in the four games. Mallory Hool, Allen Park, softball The Oakland University commit led Allen Park to two wins across three games for the week against Wyandotte Roosevelt, Woodhaven and Trenton.

Hool had a . 464 batting average on 13 hits and had six RBIs Jaelyn Ray, Pinckney, track and field Ray become the second fastest runner in Livingston County history in the 1,600 meter event during a dual meet against Jackson on Tuesday, April 14. She finished the race with a time of 4:55.
