The Chicago Bears could draft a left tackle in the 2026 NFL Draft. Here's who they should consider selecting.

Offensive tackle isn't a position that should shock the Chicago Bears during the 2026 NFL Draft. In fact, with Chicago sitting towards the end of the first round, there are plenty of options that should be available to try and either find a full-time replacement or competition to possibly the most wide-open position. It seems this offseason will be a repeat of last season, when Braxton Jones, Theo Benedet, Ozzy Trapilo and Kiran Amegadije all competed for the left tackle spot.

After shuffling through last season, Trapilo at Week 12 seemed to be the winner, as the rookie made it until the two-minute warning of the Bears ' wild-card win vs. the Green Bay Packers until he ruptured his patellar tendon. From reports and past recovery time with the kind of injury Trapilo sustained, his 2026 season could already be done, and in response, Chicago will once again have to try and find a new blindside blocker for quarterback Caleb Williams.

So far, Chicago re-signed Jones and Benedet, as well as signed former Cleveland Brown first-round pick Jedrick Willis Jr. But left tackle in the 2026 draft class is deep, and there will be suitable candidates for the Bears to draft, if they feel left tackle is the best available. Here are the potential options for the Bears at left tackle, assuming that Francis Mauigoa and Monreo Freeling are taken before the Bears pick at No.
