With an unlikely 33 needed from the last two overs, Abrar Ahmed took 14 from Shaheen Shah Afridi in the 19th to keep their faint hopes alive. But seamer Haris Rauf held his nerve and Abrar finished unbeaten on 24 from 14 balls in Quetta's 188-7. After three straight defeats, a revived Lahore move up to fourth in the table with Quetta below them in fifth having lost their last two.
