Star QB Jalen Parker, who won two state titles with Winslow, changed his mind about transferring to Camden High School.

Jalen Parker is calling an audible. Less than a week after saying he was transferring to Camden High School, the star quarterback told NJ. com on Monday night he has changed his mind.

Parker, who won two straight state championships with the Winslow Township football team, stated he is discussing the situation with his family and will select another school to attend in the coming days. One day after former Winslow head coach Bill Belton landed a new job at St. Augustine Prep on April 15, Parker said he was in the process to begin filling out the paperwork to complete a transfer to Camden, which captured the state Group 2 title last fall. Parker became New Jerseyโ€™s all-time passing touchdown leader (107) in three seasons with Winslow, helping to lead the Eagles to back-to-back state Group 4 championships.

He was the Courier-Post's Offensive Player of the Year last fall. Parker threw for 43 touchdowns in each of the last two seasons at Winslow en route to an All-New Jersey selection for the USA Today Network . He also set program records for single-season passing yards (3,296) and career passing yards (7,723).
