•Yahoo Sports

A trio of improbable comebacks has kept the Wisconsin Badgers hopes alive to make the NCAA softball tournament. In an attempt to make their first NCAA Tournament since 2022 , the Badgers secured their first series win over Michigan since 2014. Wisconsin dropped the series opener, 7-4, but later took home a pair of victories (6-3 and 14-12).

Most impressively, three of the Badgers last four wins have seen them erase a six-run deficit. The Wisconsin Softball team came back from an 8-2 deficit in today's 14-12 win over Michigan. @BadgerSoftball has now erased a six-run deficit in 3 of its last 4 wins.

While the NCAA Women's Softball RPI hasn't been updated since April 18, it's important to note the Badgers were ranked No. 38. Seeing as they now have an extra win, they're in good shape.
