Rutgers lands local transfer who did not play last season
Rutgers landee a fourth transfer late Monday night.
Rutgers has bolstered its front court with a local transfer. Will Sydnor, a 6-foot-8 forward who last played at Manhattan during the 2024-25 season, has committed to the Scarlet Knights . He has three years of eligibility remaining.
Head coach Steve Pikiell’s program beat out Seton Hall and Rhode Island for Sydnor’s signature. He visited all three schools, with Rutgers getting the last visit on Sunday. Sydnor did not play at Manhattan last winter due to what the Jaspers called an “NCAA eligibility matter unrelated to malfeasance.
