Former Texas A&M star OL Chase Bisontis is now being connected to two teams in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft.

The 2026 NFL Draft is just two days away, and among Texas A&M's nation-leading 13 invitees to the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine, three former starters from the 2025 roster could be selected in the first round, while wide receiver KC Concepcion is likely the first Aggie who will hear his name called. Still, unanimous All-American edge Cashius Howell could easily be selected in the bottom half from picks 20-32, while former star left guard Chase Bisontis is the third and final player who is now receiving significant buzz as a potential "surprise" first round pick, even though several previous mock drafts have placed the New Jersey native to several teams in the bottom half of the first 32 picks. Per Pro Football Focus , Bisontis allowed just one sack in 441 pass protection snaps last season, earning a solid 70.

7 pass protection grade, while his 62. 7 run blocking grade requires some work at the next level. Thanks to his lower-body strength, whichever team is lucky enough to draft him will not have a hard time fixing his technique during run-downs.

Widely considered the best interior offensive line prospect, a recent post from SleeperNFL stated that the Pittsburgh Steelers and Los Angeles Chargers, who hold the No. 21 and 22 picks in the first round, love Bisontis' "versatility and upside," feeling that he is an immediate starting option at left or right guard. Nearly every one of the 32 NFL teams is in need of young talent along the offensive line; some are more needy than others, which makes Chase Bisontis a name to watch on Thursday night.
