Do Tennessee Titans have one of the 'worst QB situations' in the NFL?

โ€ขYahoo Sports

The Tennessee Titans have been ranked among the "worst quarterback situations" in the NFL, but here's why that's wrong.

The 2026 NFL draft is just a couple of days away, and the Tennessee Titans head into that on the heels of an active free agency period that appears to have reset the floor under new head coach Robert Saleh. Now, they will have a chance to improve further and address some of the remaining holes. The Titans have some needs along the interior of the offensive line, on the edge, at wide receiver, and at linebacker, all positions that have some impact players available.

One position the team isnโ€™t worried about is quarterback, where Cam Ward is entrenched as the starter, and the team has some depth behind him. That is, unless you follow Brad Gagnon of Bleacher Report, who ranks the Titans quarterback room near the bottom of the league. 10.

Tennessee Titans Why it's Bad: As the No. 1 overall pick in 2025, Cam Ward averaged a league-worst 5. 9 yards per attempt.

He was the lowest-rated passer among those with more than 10 starts and took an NFL-high 55 sacks. Silver Lining: A lot of successful quarterbacks have overcome horrible rookie campaigns. Ward was always considered a bit of a project with limited support.
