Monday Seacoast Roundup: Portsmouth softball rolls, more results
The Portsmouth High School softball team improved to 3-1 on the season after an 18-2 Division I win over Memorial/Central on Monday.
MANCHESTER - Kendall Holt allowed two hits over five innings and struck out 10 as the Portsmouth High School softball team improved to 3-1 with an 18-2 win over Manchester Memorial/Central on Monday, April 20. Laura Milks had three hits and four RBIs for the Clippers, while Piper Hindle and Abby Craig both had two hits and two RBIs. Teammate Ally Girald had three hits, one RBI and scored two runs.

SOFTBALL Exeter 15 Nashua North 1 NASHUA - Exeter scored eight runs in the first inning, and six in the second in this Division I win. Maddy Gionet allowed one hit and struck out eight over five innings, earning the win. Jill Ryan led Exeter (2-2) with three hits, one RBI and two runs, while Alexa Papakonstantis had two hits, one RBI, and two runs.
Teammates Landyn Theberge (two hits, RBI), Lillian Kelley (hit, two RBIs), Rowan Decew (hit, RBI), Allie Patten (hit, RBI), Sara Dean (hit) and Gionet (hit) all contributed. Merrimack 2 Winnacunnet 1, 9 inn. MERRIMACK - Hayren Reynoso and Colette Le both had two hits for Winnacunnet in this Division I extra-inning loss.
