The winner of last week’s Baseball Player of the Week poll was Dartmouth’s Sebastian Diaz. He had more than 4000 votes (61%) to receive the honor. Diaz went 1-for-2 with 2 RBIs in a loss to New Bedford.
The previous winner was Dartmouth’s Chase Afonso. The winner of the Preseason Baseball Player of the Year poll was Dartmouth’s Logan Stott with more than 1,000 votes (38%). Old Colony’s Cam Vallee was second followed by GNB Voc-Tech’s Ashton DeMedeiros.
