Vote for the Softball Player of the Week for April 13-19
Timely hitters and ace pitchers headline nominees. Voting ends at 8 p. m.
on April 26.
The winner of last week’s Softball Player of the Week poll was Old Colony’s Abby Norton. She had more than 8,000 votes (63%) to receive the honor. In a win over Bourne, Norton went 2-for-3 with a triple, 2 runs scored and an RBI.
The previous winner was GNB Voc-Tech’s Leah Perez. The winner of the Preseason Softball Player of the Year poll was Old Colony’s Madison Canton with more than 10,000 votes (50%). Fairhaven’s Brianna Pierce was second followed by Wareham’s Jolee Anderson.
