The Bavarians are in the semi-finals of both competitions and are looking good to make the final and potentially win them. Vincent Kompany, aware of the magnitude of his team’s progress, says they can only focus on what’s in front of them. “Right now I only want to win against Leverkusen.
I can’t say now that I want to be a treble-winning coach, because I know what it means to play in a final or a semifinal,” Kompany said (as captured by X account @iMiaSanMia ). “That’s the highest level, everything has to work. I just want to win the next game.
Thinking too far ahead is not one of my qualities. ” Bayern will face Bayer Leverkusen in the DFB-Pokal (a one off) and then current Champions League holders Paris Saint-Germain (over two legs) before reaching the final of either competition.
