What will the Dolphins do with their star RB?

Dolphins’ De’Von Achane rumors get expected result from insider after months of trade speculation originally appeared on The Sporting News . Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here . The Miami Dolphins have made some interesting decisions throughout much of their existence, especially over the past 20-plus years.

There's a reason why the Dolphins haven't won a playoff game in a very long time, and that's not because the organization has made good decisions. The Dolphins have another tough decision to make over the next few months: what to do with De'Von Achane. Achane, one of the top running backs and a decent pass-catcher as well, doesn't seem to be on the market.

However, others believe he could be traded, though the Dolphins' front office recently shut that down. Others believe that it's time to read the writing on the wall about what Miami is going to do with him. “While there might be an offer that changes the Dolphins’ view of holding onto Achane for the long term, it doesn’t sound like there’s much reason to believe he will be anywhere but Miami come the fall,” Josh Alper of PFT wrote .

While all signs point to Achane staying on the roster, I think it's also fair to suggest that the Dolphins are in a position where, if they get an offer they simply can't refuse, anything is possible. However, I'd like to see Achane on the roster long term.
