(Tom Fox/The Dallas Morning News) The first-round Stanley Cup playoff series between the Stars and Wild has been as physical as advertised. In the first period of Monday's Game 2, Stars fans witnessed a playoff hit they'll likely remember for a long time.
With 5:16 left in the period, Dallas' Colin Blackwell (5-8, 181 pounds) knocked Minnesota forward Yakov Trenin to the ice. The Stars were defending when Trenin was looking to make his way toward Jake Oettinger's goal. Trenin didn't get far, as Blackwell stopped the forward's momentum.
