The Pittsburgh Steelers ' quarterback situation is becoming a little ridiculous as the franchise is still waiting on Aaron Rodgers' decision. With Pittsburgh's owner stating that the franchise had hoped a decision from Rodgers would be known by the time the NFL Draft began (still time), there are now reports that it won't happen. The Steelers need to know what Rodgers will do in 2026 so they can plan accordingly, and the longer they wait, the more their options shrink.
And ESPN's Adam Schefter states that the Steelers might be forced into a quarterback pick in the draft. "The Steelers met with three QBs at the combine: Simpson, Penn State's Drew Allar and Miami's Carson Beck (who also went to Pittsburgh for a top-30 visit)," Schefter wrote . "But the longer the Steelers go without an answer from the quarterback they want, the more they will have to consider using a higher pick at the position.

Well, apparently not. Granted, it is a big decision, but the Steelers have waited long enough, and their hand might be forced come draft night due to the uncertainty around Rodgers.
