Here are some excerpts of what she had to say below with the full interview in the link at the top.

Mayer on who she’ll fight next “It’s no secret I got into the ring at the Dubois vs Harper fight in London a few weeks ago, against Chantelle Cameron. Chantelle Cameron just won the belt I had to vacate ‘cause I hold the belt at 147, as well. I had to pick and choose since I have two belts at ‘54 I vacated that, Chantelle fought for it and I got in the ring and said ‘let’s do it.

’ “I mean, I’ve always wanted a fight with Chantelle, I always thought that would be a great fight. We have come forward styles so I know it’ll be super entertaining. So while I wait for Lauren Price so I can go undisputed with her and other fights that just don’t seem to be happening — people just don’t seem to want to move as quickly as I do — but I’ve always wanted to fight Chantelle so I think that’s a great fight in the meantime.

” On if she thinks she’ll get a Price fight this year “I don’t know. I really don’t know. We’ve been trying to negotiate with her and Ben Shalom and all these for so long and we have a whole date — everything was negotiated for her to come out.
