Mahomes is coming off a torn ACL and has made it clear he wants to be the Week 1 starter, but to do that, he will need at least a month, if not more, of work during training camp, so Patrick is in a race against time. But we know the Chiefs will be cautious with Mahomes as they don't want any setbacks in his recovery. And as the Chiefs began their voluntary workouts, he detailed how Mahomes is progressing.
