Dexter Lawrence is a "big dude," and it's no joke coming from the mouth of 6-foot-8, 350-pound Cincinnati Bengals offensive tackle Amarius Mims.
The New York Giants traded Lawrence to the Bengals in exchange for a No. 10 pick in the 2026 NFL draft. The Bengals took no time to extend the nose tackle to a one-year, $28 million extension, therefore keeping the 6-foot-2, 342-pound dude with them through the 2028 season.
On Monday, Mims met Lawrence for the first time in person and he was shocked to witness the massive frame. Mims is glad he no longer has to face Lawrence rushing through the Bengals' offensive lines, saying he'd rather be his teammate. “So I met him last night, we went to dinner last night, and I just shook his hand," Mims told reporters.
"And I’m like, I’m a big dude. So I shake his hand, I’m like, all right, big guy shakes hand, kind of bring it in. I went backwards, and he just stood there.
