Lamine Yamal handed advice by Cafu as Brazil legend compares Barcelona star to Neymar
‘Let him continue playing joyful, fun football, laughing'

Yamal has long made it clear that Neymar was his idol growing up and that he’s been inspired by the Brazilian superstar. Cafu has now explained how he believes Yamal shares some of Neymar’s best attributes.
“They’re both phenomenal. Two fantastic players. Neymar, when he was young, had that same style as Lamine: going forward, dribbling, not being afraid, enjoying playing.
I see that similarity between the two of them,” he told Sport. Cafu was also asked to give Yamal some advice and simply told the teenager to keep on enjoying himself on the football pitch. “Let him continue like this, let nothing change.
Let nothing change. Let him continue playing joyful, fun football, laughing… Enjoying football is fundamental,” he added. Yamal has been enjoying himself again this season, scoring 23 times and grabbing 17 assists.
