Per The Athletic’s Fabian Ardaya, Diaz will undergo a procedure to address the issue.

LA’s roster move comes just one day after Diaz’s rough performance against the Rockies , during which he allowed three earned runs without recording an out. He has allowed three runs in both of his last two outings, spiking his ERA to 10. 50.
