Former Browns star wide receiver eyeing final comeback
Former Cleveland Brown wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. eyeing a comeback in New York.
The New York Giants are certainly making waves to start NFL Draft week. First, they agreed on a major blockbuster trade with the Cincinnati Bengals for Dexter Lawrence, and second, they have former Giant and Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. back in their building for a workout and a physical to see if he can come back and play a final season in New York.
Beckham made a name for himself in New York thanks to one of the greatest catches of all time. It was Sunday Night Football, and Eli Manning floated a ball down the right sideline to a streaking OBJ, who was interfered with while still catching the football with basically three fingers to haul in a touchdown. That was the start of the legend of OBJ.
What ensued after that was elite wide receiver play. Beckham Jr. has three All-Pro nominations to his name and three Pro-Bowls as well.
Four of his five seasons in New York were over 1,000 yards, and in one of his 2. 5 years in Cleveland, he registered over 1,000 yards. Beckham's time in New York came to an abrupt end when he stopped seeing eye to eye with ownership and the front office.
