Here is the full injury report for Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers as they take on the Boston Celtics in Game 2 on Tuesday.

As the Philadelphia 76ers prepare for the Boston Celtics in Game 2 of Round 1 on Tuesday, they will look to steal home court advantage before the series shifts to Philadelphia. In order to do so, the Sixers will need to look to others to step up and produce at a high level on the road. In terms of the injury report, the Sixers will continue to be without Joel Embiid due to his recovery from an April 9 appendectomy.

The big fella is unlikely to play in Round 1 as the regular recovery from this type of procedure is quite lengthy. For example, OG Anunoby underwent an appendectomy in 2019. He had surgery on April 11 and was not cleared for basketball activities until June 2 for the Toronto Raptors.
