twitter. com/fvtvCJmMz6 โ€” Las Vegas Raiders (@Raiders) April 20, 2026 Martin spent a decade in the league, all of which was with the Raiders organization. The franchise selected him in the 12th round of the 1997 NFL Draft out of USC, and he quickly became a staple on their defense.

While Martinโ€™s career was outstanding on its own, he became a Super Bowl legend for the franchise after two outstanding performances in the championship game. Martin intercepted Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Ron Jaworski three separate times while leading the Raiders to a 27-10 win in Super Bowl XV in 1981. That marks the most interceptions in a single Super Bowl, a record that still stands today.

Martin helped the Raiders back to the Super Bowl in 1984 and came up with both a sack and a fumble recovery to lift them past Washington 38-9 in Super Bowl XVIII. Martin retired after the 1998 campaign. He finished with 60.
