After another thrilling week of the spring high school sports season, it's time to look back on the top team performances. m. Thursday. Bergenfield baseball The Bears went 3-0 with wins over Wayne Valley, Cliffside Park and Mahwah to finish the week above.
500 at 6-5. Eastside flag football The Ghosts beat city rival Kennedy, 25-0, to run their record to 4-0 on the season. Hasbrouck Heights softball The Aviators went 4-0, finishing the week on a six-game winning streak.
New Milford boys track and field The Knights won the C division at the Bergen County Relays, their first title since 2008. Old Tappan baseball The Golden Knights went 4-0 to run their season record to 10-1. The April 17 win over Bergen Catholic was the 600th of coach Tim Byron's career .
Old Tappan girls track and field The Golden Knights won the B division at the Bergen County Relays by 2 points over rival Demarest, winning their first title since 2004. Passaic Valley softball The Hornets went 4-0, finishing the week on a seven-game winning streak. Ridgewood boys lacrosse The Maroons went 3-0 with wins over Northern Highlands, Glen Rock and Mountain Lakes.
