CBS Sports looked back on the Bucs draft history and brought up one of the worst picks in. franchise history.

The NFL Draft is the best and worst moments for franchises and fans alike. The draft offers renewed optimism for both parties, as they feel any of these picks, especially those made in the first three rounds, could be a game-changer. These are the players you feel can tip the scales in your favor, put you over the hump, or at the very least provide some playmaking.

However, not every draft pick works out for fans and the teams; in fact, more often than not, they do not. That being said, there are always some picks that stand out above the rest. The recent work of CBS Sports' Bryan DeArdo dove into that as he highlighted the Bucs best and worst draft picks in recent memory.

As for the worst pick, this is a throwback name that many fans may have forgotten about but will remember as they see it: Roberto Aguayo. The former Florida State kicker stayed in state when the Bucs drafted him, but he could never replicate his success in the NFL that he had in college football. DeArdo writes, "Tampa Bay traded third- and fourth-round picks to move up to select Aguayo, who made just 71% of his kicks during his only season with the team.

He bounced around for four more years before things ended in disappointment. " Aguayo was thought to be an answer for the team's kicking problems until it became evident, all the way inย  Hard Knocks, ย when the kicks weren't going his way .
