GREEN BAY – Middle Tennessee State safety Juwon Gaston ’s testing numbers don’t jump out, his production isn’t spectacular and he played for an FBS school. He isn’t going to get drafted. But the Green Bay Packers thought enough of him to bring him in for a pre-draft visit.

Gaston posted photos of his visit on his Instagram account. Packer Report confirmed that he made the visit. Gaston played multiple positions for MTSU after transferring from Houston after his junior season.

He played in nine games and started three, finishing with 39 tackles, three interceptions, four pass breakups and two forced fumbles. During his two seasons at Houston, he played in 14 games, earning a redshirt exemption in 2024 due to playing in only four games. He started two games in ’23, and finished with 18 tackles and no interceptions.
