Current boss Andoni Iraola's contract runs out at the end of the season and he will not sign an extension. As a result, Rose has been appointed on a three-year contract and will take over this summer.
The 48-year-old has a wealth of experience in the Bundesliga, enjoying successful spells in charge of Borussia Mönchengladbach, Borussia Dortmund and Leipzig. The Cherries are currently on a 13-game unbeaten run.
