Trent Williams, 49ers agree to 2-year, $50 million contract extension, per agents

The deal will make Williams the first non-quarterback to earn more than $400 million in contract money and $225 million in guaranteed money.

Offensive tackle Trent Williams and the San Francisco 49ers have reached agreement on a two-year, $50 million contract extension, his agents announced on Monday . The new contract includes $37 million in guaranteed money for the 15-year veteran and a $22 million signing bonus. With the deal, Williams becomes the first non-quarterback in NFL history to earn more $400 million in contract value and $225 million in guaranteed money, according to his agency Elite Loyalty Sports.

Williams, 37, was in the final year of a three-year, $82. 6 million deal that he signed in 2024. He is set to be paid a base salary of $32.
