Former LSU baseball star Anthony Eyanson is finding his groove with the Boston Red Sox organization.
In his first season of professional baseball, right-handed pitcher Anthony Eyanson is faring well. The former LSU baseball hurler logged three starts thus far with the Greenville Drive, High-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. Eyanson started Saturday against the Bowling Green Hot Rods.
He pitched five shutout innings and allowed just two hits without giving up a walk. The righty also picked up five strikeouts, making his total 18 on the young season. The former Tiger's 0.
