During the talk, both made mention of their perceived areas of advantage against one another as they both express confidence that they’ll be the one walking away with the belt with Dubois in particular breaking down his view that Wardley has just been on a lucky streak.

Wardley on his mentality heading into Dubois fight “Ultimately no one knows my level but me, and I believe I can go all the way to the top. I don’t think there’s a man that can stand in front of me and make it through the 12 rounds with me. Again, as good of a fighter as Daniel is, he’s been in with some good guys — I don’t think he’s the man to do it, either.

” Dubois on facing Wardley “He’s been lucky up until now and I need to take his 0. He hasn’t faced a fighter like me. Full credit to him, though.

He’s come through everything that’s been put in front of him and now is my time. I feel like I’ve been through what I’ve need to, been beat up bad, scars and all that. I’m experienced and I’m ready to go.
