Wisconsin women's basketball adds second transfer from Iowa
Fellow Iowa Hawkeyes guard Teagan Mallegni has joined her former teammate, Addie Deal, in Madison. The Wisconsin Badgers were able to land both Hawkeyes in a move that will create an extremely interesting conference game in the 2026-27 season. Wisconsin announced Mallegni had officially made the move to Madison and will be playing for the Badgers next year.

The soon-to-be junior appeared in 45 games for Iowa but has yet to make a start at the collegiate level. Mallegni, a McFarland, WI, native, averaged just 1.
5 points per game last season, which was a huge drop from the 3. 2 she averaged as a freshman. At 6-foot-1, Mallegni is the 13th player on this Badgers roster.
