Real Madrid have not made contact with former manager over potential return Jose Mourinho is one of the managers being mentioned as a possible arrival at Real Madrid next season. The 63-year-old Portuguese manager previously led the club between 2010 and 2013 and could now return to the Santiago Bernabeu to replace his former ward, Alvaro Arbeloa, who is likely to be axed at the end of the season. As has been reported , Mourinho, currently in charge of SL Benfica, would be willing to listen to Real Madrid and think about the possibility of a move back to the Bernabeu.
No contacts yet However, according to Mundo Deportivo , an approach from Real Madrid towards Mourinho has not taken place. In December, when Real Madrid dismissed Xabi Alonso, Mourinho denied that he would take over the team at that time. At present, however, he has not ruled anything out.
