Originally slated to start for the Indians on Saturday evening, Dotel instead found himself making his MLB debut with the Pirates, helping to close out their victory over the Rays. The Dominican Republic native was called upon in the ninth inning, and said he was filled with emotion coming out of the bullpen. “On my way to the mound, I wanted to get there as fast as possible just to get on the mound and start throwing my pitches,” Dotel said.
