Bolles sophomore Leighton Dostie is the new Florida Times-Union Girls Athlete of the Week for Northeast Florida high school sports for the 2025-26 season, covering the week of April 6-11, 2026 in the Jacksonville area. Dostie batted . 667 with five doubles, a triple, eight runs and six RBI for Bulldog softball in wins over Christ's Church, St.
Johns Country Day and Bishop Kenny. For the season, she is among Jacksonville's statistical leaders with a . 595 batting average, eight doubles and three triples.
She placed first in a vote of top Northeast Florida performers that included Taniya Booker (Paxon flag football), Abbi Heilmann (Fletcher lacrosse), Sariah Kee (Riverside track), Makayla Pratt (Trinity Christian softball) and Alexis Wilson (Bishop Kenny track).
