One of the main reasons for Honesdale's recent resurgence on the boys high school track & field scene has been the stellar efforts of Maddox Johnson.

HONESDALE — After a prolonged period of struggle to be competitive in the always- rugged Lackawanna League, the Honesdale boys track & field team is finally showing signs of life. And one of the biggest reasons for this resurgence is the consistently stellar performance of Maddox Johnson. A versatile junior who specializes in jumps and relays, Johnson’s impressive skill set was on full display during a recent victory on the road at North Pocono.

Johnson powered his way to three individual wins while also playing a key role in a fourth as the Hornets cruised to a 92-54 decision over the Trojans.
