The legendary Doug Williams weighs in on the Commanders' new uniforms.

Doug Williams says the Washington uniforms should have never changed. Last week, the Commanders ' media sat down with former Washington Redskins quarterback Doug Williams. They recorded Williams as he opened a package to see the new uniforms and new helmets.

They wanted to get his initial reactions and react, which is just what the Super Bowl XXII winning quarterback did. "Oh man," was what Williams first said when he opened the new glossy helmet. "This is what it is all about right here," said Williams.

Next came the opening of the new alternate black jersey which contains more burgundy and gold that the previous uniform, which too much resembled something the Steelers might wear. "Now, we going to go black, this is how you go," said the smiling Williams. Meet our alter ego pic.
