Only Vanderbiltโs Mikayla Blakes averaged more points per contest in the country. Crooks also averaged 7. 7 rebounds and shot nearly 65% from the field, which was the best in the Big 12.
The Cyclones, however, struggled this past season and largely fell apart at the end of the year despite reaching as high as No. 10 in the national rankings. Crooks, an Iowa native, joined nine other Cyclones teammates in entering the transfer portal after they were knocked out in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
