WACO, Texas ( FOX 44 ) — TCU rallied late to defeat Baylor 5-4 in the opener and rolled to a 10-2 win in the nightcap of a Sunday doubleheader at Baylor Ballpark. Baylor appeared on track to clinch the series in Game 1, carrying a 4-0 lead into the eighth inning. TCU however, not going down without a fight.
A late Horned Frogs comeback against Caleb Bunch, scoring five runs over the final two innings to steal the victory. The loss proved heartbreaking for the Bears, who were unable to recover in the second game. TCU took control early and pulled away for an eight-run win to complete the sweep.
